What You'll Actually Learn

Three focused modules that build from foundational concepts to advanced analysis techniques. Each module includes live labs with real blockchain data.

Blockchain Fundamentals and Data Structures

4 weeks · Saturdays 10:00-13:00

+

Start with how blockchains actually store information. You'll work directly with transaction data, understand address relationships, and learn to extract meaningful patterns from raw blockchain records.

  • Reading transaction structures across different networks
  • Address clustering and entity identification methods
  • Working with node APIs and blockchain explorers
  • Building basic monitoring queries
  • Understanding smart contract interactions
  • Identifying common transaction patterns

Transaction Tracing and Investigation Techniques

5 weeks · Saturdays 10:00-13:00

+

Learn systematic approaches to following funds across blockchain networks. Work through real case studies that show how professional investigators track suspicious activity and document their findings.

  • Multi-hop transaction tracing methodologies
  • Identifying mixing and obfuscation techniques
  • Cross-chain bridge analysis
  • Exchange interaction patterns
  • Documentation standards for investigations
  • Risk scoring frameworks

Analytics Tools and Reporting Systems

5 weeks · Saturdays 10:00-13:00

+

Build automated monitoring systems and create reports that make sense to non-technical stakeholders. You'll use industry-standard tools and develop dashboards similar to those used by compliance teams.

  • Setting up automated alert systems
  • Building visual analysis dashboards
  • Writing clear technical reports
  • Integrating multiple data sources
  • Creating compliance documentation
  • Presenting findings to business teams
